1 Samuel 2:33

SV	Doch de man, dien Ik u niet zal uitroeien van Mijn altaar, zou zijn om uw ogen te verteren, en om uw ziel te bedroeven; en al de menigte uws huizes zal sterven, mannen geworden zijnde.
WLC	וְאִ֗ישׁ לֹֽא־אַכְרִ֤ית לְךָ֙ מֵעִ֣ם מִזְבְּחִ֔י לְכַלֹּ֥ות אֶת־עֵינֶ֖יךָ וְלַאֲדִ֣יב אֶת־נַפְשֶׁ֑ךָ וְכָל־מַרְבִּ֥ית בֵּיתְךָ֖ יָמ֥וּתוּ אֲנָשִֽׁים׃
Trans.	wə’îš lō’-’aḵərîṯ ləḵā mē‘im mizəbəḥî ləḵallwōṯ ’eṯ-‘êneyḵā wəla’ăḏîḇ ’eṯ-nafəšeḵā wəḵāl-marəbîṯ bêṯəḵā yāmûṯû ’ănāšîm:

AC	לג ואיש לא אכרית לך מעם מזבחי לכלות את עיניך ולאדיב את נפשך וכל מרבית ביתך ימותו אנשים
ASV	And the man of thine, [whom] I shall not cut off from mine altar, [shall be] to consume thine eyes, and to grieve thy heart; and all the increase of thy house shall die in the flower of their age.
BE	But one man of your family will not be cut off by my hand, and his eyes will be made dark, and grief will be in his heart: and all the offspring of your family will come to their end by the sword of men.
Darby	And the man of thine [whom] I shall not cut off from mine altar, shall be to cause thine eyes to fail and to grieve thy soul; and all the increase of thy house shall die in their vigour.
ELB05	Und der Mann, den ich dir nicht ausrotten werde von meinem Altar, wird zum Erlöschen deiner Augen und zum Verschmachten deiner Seele sein; und aller Anwuchs deines Hauses, sie sollen als Männer sterben.
LSG	Je laisserai subsister auprès de mon autel l'un des tiens, afin de consumer tes yeux et d'attrister ton âme; mais tous ceux de ta maison mourront dans la force de l'âge.
Sch	Ich will dir zwar nicht jedermann von meinem Altar wegtilgen, da deine Augen sonst verschmachten und deine Seele vor Sehnsucht vergehen müßte; aber aller Nachwuchs deines Hauses soll sterben, wenn sie das Mannesalter erreicht haben.
Web	And the man of thine, whom I shall not cut off from my altar, shall be to consume thy eyes, and to grieve thy heart: and all the increase of thy house shall die in the flower of their age.
